All-state offensive lineman Matt Ryan from New Orleans, Louisiana signed with Clemson on Wednesday as a preferred walk-on. Ryan is the son of Buffalo Bills' defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, nephew of Bills' head coach Rex Ryan and the cousin of Clemson holder Seth Ryan.

He had football offers from Akron and SE Louisiana and walk-on offers from Auburn, Clemson, Mississippi State and several others.
