Jeffrey Ogren committed to Clemson back during the summer. Shortly after his commitment, he announced his intentions to graduate in December and enroll in Clemson in January. Wednesday night Ogren confirmed those intentions once again.
"My official visit to Clemson will be December 16th. I believe Coach Swinney told me there are a couple more players coming in that weekend, too. It will be my last trip to Clemson before I enroll in January. We want to make sure all of my housing and classes are taken care of." What approach will Ogren take once he arrives on campus? "I want to sit back and learn as much as I can. I really thought our receivers played well towards the end of the year. Curtis Baham made some big catches, and hopefully I will be able to learn a few things from before he goes." Have any schools made one last pursuit of Ogren? "My coach took me out of class the other day to meet Steve Spurrier. I don't think Coach Spurrier knew I was committed to Clemson until right before. It was nice to meet him, but I am a Clemson Tiger."
