Nick Claytor trimmed his list down to six schools over the weekend. The Tigers had been pursuing Claytor, but they did not make the top six.

"Florida State, Auburn, LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Georgia Tech are my top six. Notre Dame hasn't offered yet, but I think they will after they see my tape."

Could another school jump up the board with Claytor?

"Anything is possible. Several coaches still send me mail everyday. There are no guarantees, so I am not cutting anyone off, but those are my top six schools."

Ron West will continue his pursuit of Claytor, and he will work to get Clemson back in the door.
