The nation's top-rated recruit set a commitment date Friday.

Clemson defensive line target Bryan Bresee will announce his commitment on April 23, Bresee posted on social media.

Bresee visited for the Clemson spring game weekend, as well as Elite Junior Day in January and the South Carolina game in November. Before the spring game, he had visits scheduled for Oklahoma and Alabama that he will not make now.

Bresee has also made stops at Penn State and Georgia this year and his top-six last November was Clemson, Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State.

Bresee, who is ranked No. 1 overall in the 247Sports Composite player rankings, was a Maxpreps Junior All-American and the Gatorade player of the year for Maryland with 36 tackles for loss and 12.5 sacks.
