View Full Profile from Greenville, North Carolina will announce his college choice on Wednesday. Powell told TigerNet that he will have the ceremony at Rose high school at 11AM in the field house and Clemson has told him that "I'm their guy and they want me there."

Powell enjoyed his visit last weekend to Clemson's Elite Junior Day.

"The atmosphere, like even at a basketball game, its crazy," Powell said. "I love their fan base and the fact thats its a dominant football town."

He has offers from Alabama, Clemson, East Carolina, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Ohio State, Wake Forest, West Virginia and others.

His top three schools are Clemson, Ohio State and North Carolina.

The 4-star wide receiver was very impressive at the Army Bowl 2014 Combine in Texas where he was named MVP of the entire event (570 players were invited).

Powell had 47 catches for 1,228 yards and 21 touchdowns as a sophomore.

On the academic side of things, Powell wants to major in business in college.
