Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle D.J. Reader suffered a serious leg injury in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Reader was carted off the field with a quad injury after making a tackle. NFL.com is reporting that Reader is expected to miss the rest of the season with the unfortunate injury.

For the season, he had 8 solo tackles.

The 26-year-old signed a four-year, $53 million contract in March with the Bengals.

Reader was picked in the fifth round by the Texans in 2016.
