Bendinelli, Coder to Transfer

Clemson, SC - Sophomore righthander Chad Bendinelli (Marietta, GA) and junior outfielder Chad Coder (Redmond, WA) have left the Tiger program with plans to transfer to another school.

Bendinelli, made four relief appearances in 2002, pitching a total of 3.1 innings with only allowing one run. Bendinelli lettered as a true freshman in 2000, making nine appearances out of the bullpen. Bendinelli red-shirted in 2001.

Coder started 10 games and appeared in 24 others this season, while hitting .321 with a homer and six RBIs. Coder also lettered in 2001, when he started 55 games while hitting .270 with five homers and 30 RBIs.
