Has anyone ever taken an Uber to the game like from a hotel nearby? If so, how close could they get to the stadium and where could one pick you up after? Asking for a friend.

I would think it would be dicey at best, especially if a night game. My suggestion would be to wear comfortable walking shoes just in case.

Yes. We took one one time from the Collective Apartments in Central. My daughter was living there at the time. The Uber was great! The driver was a middle aged man that knew a lot of the back roads and streets in Clemson. We exited Hwy. 123 to the left past the College Ave intersection and took out of the way streets until we came out near the Esso Club and The John. We jumped out there and walked the rest of the way. I thought it was going to take a long time, but it was quicker than I expected, maybe 45 mins? I would definitely do it again.

Plan on paying a 3 - 5 x premium for pre game and same amount of time for waiting.

Plan on walking after the game or waiting 2 + hours.

Yes. Can't get close to the stadium due to needing a parking pass so we got dropped off at the Esso Club. Leaving is the issue as roads are reversed so you have to wait till traffic ia back to normal

Same, took Uber from Greenville and dropped at Esso. Was great! The trick is getting home. If you have a ride with someone it’s perfect.

Yep. Last season. Was pleasantly surprised.

Took Uber because we were in a neighborhood close to campus but not easily walkable to the stadium.

Drop off was near the road on the west end zone side of shotgun alley. Keep in mind gameday traffic flows affect where they can drop you off or pick you up.

We tailgated late after the game and our Uber picked up right at our tailgate, since traffic was long gone.

Cheap, easy, and we will do it again.
