Former Clemson LB target commits to Tennessee

Four-star LB prospect Quavaris Crouch announced a commitment to Tennessee Friday, marking the end of an interesting recruiting process.

Crouch attended multiple Clemson games and the Tigers were a projected leader for the top-100-rated athlete up until the weekend before the early signing period, when Crouch made a surprise visit to Tennessee.

Crouch said in the announcement he felt more comfortable with the Tennessee coaches and the proximity of Tennessee was a factor as well, with Michigan regarded as the other top finalist. He said he will play outside linebacker for the Vols.
