From David Hooker of ESPN:
The trip to Gainesville is the first official visit that Gilmore has announced. However, the Gators still have plenty of work to do to land the ESPN 150 prospect. Gilmore has openly said LSU leads for his services, and he is considering a visit to Virginia Tech. He also recently said he is nearing a decision. As a junior, he had 79 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries, and 2 interceptions. He also caught 3 passes for 43 yards. As a sophomore, he had 70 tackles and a sack.
