4-star linebacker Nakobe Dean (Horn Lake, Miss.) announced a Clemson offer Thursday evening.

“Tremendously blessed to receive and offer from Clemson University,” Dean posted on Twitter.

Dean, who is rated as a 247Sports Composite 5-star as the No. 24 player in the country, totaled 147 tackles (25 for loss) with nine sacks and a caused fumble last season.

He also holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Mississippi State and Ole Miss, as well as Florida State, Nebraska, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.

Dean will play in the Under Armour All-American game.
