Four-star Tulsa, Oklahoma safety Daxton Hill added Clemson to a long offer list including home-state Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, as well as Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State and Florida State among more Power 5 interest. "Extremely blessed to say I’ve received an offer from Clemson University," Hill posted on Twitter. Hill is rated as a top-20 player overall for 2019 by ESPN and the No. 1 prospect in Oklahoma by both ESPN and Rivals. The Washington High (Okla.) product totaled 71 stops, six for loss, with 11 pass breakups and three of his five interceptions going for touchdowns last season. He also recovered a fumble for a score. He listed a top-12 to start the year of TCU, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Michigan, Alabama, Penn State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Stanford and Arkansas.
