3-star 2018 athlete Taye Barber from Cypress, Texas (Cypress Springs) released his top 12 on Sunday and Clemson made the cut according to his Twitter account.
"My recruitment is still open," Barber posted. His top 12 schools listed were Arizona, Clemson, Iowa State, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Stanford, Tennesee, TCU, Utah, and West Virginia. Barber has national offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Clemson, Fresno State, Houston, Indiana, Iowa State, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma State, Rice, SMU, TCU, Tulsa, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Yale. His first offer was from Oklahoma State. Clemson offered him on May 16. In 2016, he completed 46 passes out of 79 attempts for 844 yards with eight touchdowns and four interceptions. He also had 86 rushes for 385 yards with five rushing touchdowns and nine catches for 256 yards and a score. As a sophomore, he completed 187 passes out of 295 attempts for 2988 yards with 30 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He also had 140 carries for 832 yards and ten scores. ??
