Former Clemson DB suffers dislocated elbow

Minnesota cornerback MacKensie Alexander suffered a dislocated elbow during the Vikings' 28-12 win over the Falcons on Sunday.

Alexander will have an MRI on Monday to find out the severity of the dislocation. More than likely, early projections have him missing around four weeks. He was seen on the sidelines with a sling on his right arm.

“He’s doing pretty good. The injury’s not too bad,” Jayron Kearse said via the Star Tribune. “He’s going to be around ready to fight for us when he comes back.”

Alexander has 66 tackles, four sacks, an interception, and 16 pass break-ups in his four-year NFL career.

Kearse will be helping out in the slot with the defense while Alexander is out of the lineup.
