is the greatest QB in ACC history.

Other notable ACC QB's listed are Charlie Ward, Chris Weinke and Phillip Rivers.

He just set the ACC record for career TD passes — passing Philip Rivers — and became the first player in conference history with 10,000 yards passing and 1,000 yards rushing in a career.

The Tigers are 30-7 with Boyd as their starter, improving every season.

And although he won’t leave with the Heisman Trophies that Florida State’s Charlie Ward and Chris Weinke won, or the national championship that Homer Jordan brought to Clemson, it’s possible to say that Boyd is the best QB in ACC history.
