Gamecock TE says Death Valley is not that intimidating |

South Carolina players have for the most part been pretty quiet this rivalry week against No. 2 Clemson, apparently not wanting to let any bulletin board material slip out.
Gamecock tight end Jacob August decided to go another route. “Me speaking about myself and not the other guys, I don’t think Clemson is that intimidating as a home venue compared to other stadiums,” August told Gamecock Central. “We go to Texas A&M; we went to LSU. We’ve been to all these other places that are just as loud as Clemson. In reality, it’s just another road game to us.” Death Valley. Night game. No. 2 team in the nation. Bragging rights on the line. Just another road game? I doubt it for the Gamecocks as they are currently a HUGE 26 point underdog tomorrow night. I had a prediction of a Clemson win 41-14 with the story earlier today as I see a few touchdowns coming up for standout running Travis Etienne. In case you were wondering, August has four receptions for 24 yards and a touchdown this season.
