Former Clemson DE signs with Cardinals

Former Clemson defender Andre Branch has signed with the Arizona Cardinals, the team announced on Tuesday.

Branch was drafted in the second round by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2012 and has played the last three years with the Miami Dolphins.

He has 25.5 career sacks, forcing eight fumbles and breaking up 14 passes at the NFL-level.

The Richmond, Virginia product was a finalist for the Hendricks Award and a second-team All-American as a senior, tallying 10.5 sacks and a team-best 17 tackles for loss. He posted 17.5 sacks and 33.5 tackles for loss over his time as a Tiger.
