Clemson is a fun destination to live with its excellent collegiate sporting events year around.

WalletHub released its rankings of their 2018 Best Sports Cities recently and Clemson, S.C. was ranked No. 6 in best small sports cities (smaller than 100K) in the nation.

The website compared 419 small to large cities across the five largest sports in the U.S.: football (50 percent), basketball (31), baseball (27), hockey (15), and soccer (9).

Clemson's cumulative score would be much higher but their hockey score received a default '450' which basically is a zero.

Top 10 Best Small Sports Cities:

1 Chapel Hill, NC

2 East Lansing, MI

3 West Point, NY

4 Princeton, NJ
