Nate Wiggins is ready to get to work.

Wiggins signed his rookie contract ahead of the Baltimore Ravens' rookie minicamp (May 3-5), becoming the first first-round selection of the 2024 NFL draft to sign a contract.

It is reportedly worth $12.8 million with a $6.1 million signing bonus for the 30th overall selection.

Wiggins was the third Clemson defender to go in the first round in the last two editions of the draft, joining Myles Murphy (No. 28 to Cincinnati) and Bryan Bresee (No. 29 to New Orleans. Wiggins was the second first-round cornerback from Clemson since 2020 (AJ Terrell to Atlanta in 2020, No. 16 overall) and a sixth first-rounder from the all-time Clemson secondary since 1983.

Wiggins was a second Tiger picked by the Ravens all-time in a second season in a row, following Trenton Simpson going in the third round in 2023.

The speedy corner was credited by the coaching staff with 50 tackles (3.0 for loss), 24 pass breakups, three interceptions (including two returned for touchdowns), two forced fumbles, a sack and a blocked field goal in 1,377 career snaps over 34 games (18 starts) from 2021-23.
