Watson named Walter Camp National Offensive POTW

Clemson sophomore quarterback Deshaun Watson was named Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week on Sunday after leading his team to a 56-41 win over North Carolina State on Saturday.

Watson finished the game completing 23-30 passes for 383 yards and five touchdowns, and he also had 14 carries for 54 yards and a score.

The six scores was tied for his career high back against North Carolina in 2014. He is now 12-1 as a starting quarterback at Clemson which is the greatest QB record after 13 games in school history.

Watson is the fifth Clemson player to earn Walter Camp National Player of the Week honors since 2004.
