We knew he was due to go on a tear…not this type of tear. At best, he’s been an average hitter all season, and we’re going to miss a hot Acuna for sure, but we did win the World Series the last time he went down.

...Acuna out for the year. Riley is day to day. Phillies are hottest team in baseball and up 6 games already. Don't see us catching them. Gotta try to hold on for a Wild Card this year.

Yep I just saw that…really hate it for the guy! He’s been through it before so he can do it again. The Braves have shown they can deal with a major loss but jeez!

Can’t sustain many more blows, but this team has not played its best ball yet. You still have all-stars at nearly every position. This is something the team could rally around and finally get going; I’m optimistic on the season still.

We’ve got great players at a lot of positions. However, losing Acuna is going to hurt. He was bound to get hot for awhile and we were going to need those wins to have a chance to catch up to the Phillies.

I think we have to hope to win the wildcard spot and see if we can make some noise in the playoffs.
