Former Clemson running back Zac Brooks has been released on Tuesday as the team cuts down to a 75-man roster according to multiple reports.

Brooks battled hamstring issues during the offseason and training camp. He played in two NFL preseason games and had six carries for 17 yards and a four-yard catch.

The Seahawks still have a stable of six running backs on their roster with C.J. Prosise, Christine Michael, Thomas Rawls, Troymaine Pope, Alex Collins, and George Farmer.

Brooks was drafted #247 overall by the Seattle Seahawks in the seventh round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

In 2015 at Clemson, Brooks had 41 attempts for 234 yards and three rushing touchdowns and also had nine receptions for 113 yards and two scores.
