Sterling Shepard is a multi-threat WR that plays for Heritage Hall's high school team. He is getting attention as a wide receiver and a defensive back at the college level.
As junior, he had 1500 total yards of offense and scored 28 touchdowns. On defensive he had 103 tackles along with eight interceptions, six of those returned for touchdowns. He helped his teammates including Barry Sanders Jr. to a 3A Oklahoma State Championship last year. Clemson has already offered Shepard for next year's recruting class. According to the NewsOK: Despite the offer(Oklahoma), it won't accelerate his thought process. Shepard has said in the past that he plans on being patient before making his commitment. Shepard has also received offers from Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Missouri and Kansas State. He said he plans on attending the Junior Days at Notre Dame and Clemson in the upcoming weeks. “I've missed out on some Junior Days because of the weather and school stuff, but I definitely hope to get out to more of them,” Shepard said.
