One of the nation's top-rated cornerbacks announced a Clemson offer Thursday night.

Bishop Sullivan Catholic (Va.) four-star prospect Sheridan Jones was the No. 1-rated cornerback by 247Sports.com for 2020, before Jones also announced Thursday he would reclassify for the 2019 class.

Jones was named a sophomore All-American by Maxpreps recently.

"He is the complete package and is one of the most physical corners in the game," Maxpreps analyst Jack Poff said.

Jones also holds offers from Ohio State, Virginia Tech, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Penn State, LSU, Florida and Florida State among more Power 5 interest.

Jones picked up an invite to the 2019 Under Armour All-American game Thursday.
