Clemson offered one of South Carolina’s top 2019 prospects Monday.
4-star tight end Luke Deal (Greenwood, S.C.) announced the offer, adding to a list including Florida, Georgia, Notre Dame, Michigan, Maryland, Purdue, USF and Iowa State. “Blessed to receive an offer from Clemson University!!” Deal posted on Twitter Monday. Deal has visits slated for Auburn this weekend and Notre Dame in April (official) and has already made stops at NC State, Georgia and Florida this year. He told Rivals.com he would like to visit Southern Cal as well. On offense, Deal totaled seven touchdowns for Emerald last season, with four on receptions, two on passes and one via rush (via Index-Journal).
