The Tennessee Titans informed former Clemson standout Vic Beasley that he will be released on Wednesday.

Beasley signed a contract in the offseason that was set to be worth $9.5 million guaranteed and up to $12 million total.

The Titans and Beasley got off to a tough start with Beasley reporting late for training camp and he had tallied just two solo stops and a forced fumble in five games this season.

Beasley was a former top-10 pick by the Atlanta Falcons in 2015 and a two-time consensus All-American DE for the Tigers.
