'B sample' results in for suspended Clemson players |

Zach Giella, are still suspended pending an appeal after the 'B sample' tests came back with similar results to those of late last week.
The Tigers trio were found to have trace amounts of ostarine, a prohibited Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator (SARM), which means they would face a loss of a full season of eligibility without a successful appeal. “This evening, Clemson Athletics received confirmation from the NCAA of suspensions for tight end Braden Galloway, offensive lineman Zach Giella and defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence, all three of whom will be unavailable for Saturday’s game against Notre Dame," a statement released Thursday from Clemson AD Dan Radakovich said. "The athletic department will have no further comment on the matter this evening as it considers all of our options, including appeals.” Sources around the program are optimistic that an appeal will be successful, with a possibility that that decision could come before a potential national championship game. Lawrence elected to speak at Clemson's Cotton Bowl media day. "I'm not the type of guy to do a selfish act like that (taking an illegal substance)," Lawrence said. "I have too much pride. I love this team and my family too much to put that type of substance in my body. I don't know where it came from. I don't know how it got there. I was raised different. If I did do it, I would own up to it but honestly, don’t know where it came from and there is nothing I can do anything about it."
