Miami snaps Clemson's 4 game ACC win streak

Clemson’s four-game ACC winning streak came to a grinding halt Sunday afternoon in Miami as the Hurricanes hit ten 3-pointers and got 17 points from Sheldon McClellan in a 56-45 victory over the Tigers at the BankUnited Center.

Clemson falls to 14-9 over, 6-5 in the ACC while the Hurricanes improve to 14-9, 5-5.

, who each scored 10 points. The Tigers shot 5-20 from three point range, and attempted just one free throw.

The Tigers held a 25-24 lead the half, but Miami came out firing to begin the second half and a dunk by McClellan at the 11:40 mark concluded a 20-5 run and gave the Hurricanes a 44-30 lead.

"We didn't play as well as we've been playing the last few times," head coach Brad Brownell said. "They played better than we did. We didn't play very well offensively. They had some things to do with that."

Clemson returns to action Tuesday night when they host 10th-ranked Notre Dame at 7 p.m. at Littlejohn Coliseum
