Tigers to play Orange & Purple scrimmages

CLEMSON, S.C. - The Tigers conclude fall practice with three Orange & Purple intrasquad scrimmages at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Wednesday (3:30 p.m.), Friday (6:30 p.m.) and Sunday (1:30 p.m.). Admission is free to all three scrimmages.

The scrimmages mark the end of the fall practice season, which began in September. Clemson, who was 47-16 in 2018, returns All-American Logan Davidson (SS), who is hitting .289 with 27 homers, 27 doubles, 87 RBIs, 116 runs and 20 steals in 126 games as a Tiger.

Clemson welcomed the No. 7 recruiting class in the nation (2019 newcomers) according to Collegiate Baseball. The Tigers open the 2019 season with a three-game series against South Alabama at Doug Kingsmore Stadium from Feb. 15-17.
