Mickey,

I have to hand it to you. I was a Kelly Bryant guy and didn’t think Trevor Lawrence could beat out an incumbent that led us to the playoffs last year. But I am converted. TL16 looks like the real deal. I am not sure I have seen a freshman look like this. I won’t doubt you again. LOL.

Todd

Lawrence has looked better and better each week. The offense has looked so much better with the passing threat back into the offense. I went back and watched the Georgia Tech and NC State games yesterday, and the offense just looks different than it did this time last year. I also think he will continue to improve as he gets more experience. Lawrence is able to get those five-star wideouts like Tee Higgins, and Justyn Ross back involved again. Clemson looks like WRU again. And how about the balance of an offense that can rush for over 400 yards one week and almost 400 yards passing the next? The best is yet to come.

Mickey,

Is Quavaris Crouch really finished playing football for his senior year? Is he doing like the defensive player at Ohio State that is doing what is best for him rather than what is best for his team?

David

David,

It looks like he is done for the year, but I think he will play in the Army All-American game in January. It has been a strange year at his school. His coach left after last season and I think they have an interim for the last few games. I think they have had three head coaches in two years and are not very good this season. I am not sure what effect that had on his decision. I also don’t know what position Crouch will play in college, but let’s be clear that Clemson wants him and currently leads for him. He is a guy that you sign, then figure out where he will play when he gets here.

Mickey,

What is up with our men's soccer team? They are doing well. Are they young? Injuries?

Gerald

Gerald,

I have not followed the team as close this year, and we have not had Coach Noonan on the show. I did speak with a former player last week, and he says they lack a finishing forward and have had some hard luck in some of these losses. I know the conference is loaded again, but don’t know if this season can be turned around with so few chances left.
