There's a little more drama to Clemson's biggest target left on the 2019 board as we close in on National Signing Day (Feb. 6).
Clemson, with Tony Elliott, and Alabama, with Nick Saban, stopped in at Jackson Prep (Ms.) Thursday to visit 5-star running back Jerrion Ealy. Per local reports, Saban met with Ealy, Ealy's mother and Jackson Prep coach Ricky Black and now Ealy is set to use his final official visit for Feb. 1 at Alabama, per 247Sports. Ealy recently visited Clemson officially during the National Championship celebration. He also has a visit scheduled with Ole Miss this weekend, where he was previously committed. Ealy set a decision date of Feb. 6 for his college choice and then the wait will begin, as he is currently a first-round MLB prospect ahead of a June draft there. He told ESPN this week that "all options are on the table right now" with his future. 247Sports' Crystal Ball currently projects Ealy to Clemson.
