He was one of the RBs while I was at Clemson, along with Merriweather and Coleman. They don’t make em like that anymore!

Gallman was like Davis. Almost never got tackled by a single player. Dude was tough and underrated. I would love to have Andre Ellington this year. Dude was great and another underrated RB at Clemson.

We’ve had some good ones in the past.
Davis Spiller Ellington Gallman Etienne Shipley Mafah
Gideon’s up next, I believe.

And like Davis, TigerBigBass is dead-on that Gallman and Ellington were rock solid studs. Not superstar level like Terry Allen, Spiller and Etienne, but talented winners.

Just a hunch but I see EZ taking RB1
Partially because Randall isn't an every down back. If they try to use him that way I'm concerned LSU will eventually punch the ball out. That's something that hasn't been discussed and considering the cause of these opening season games I'm surprised they haven't thought of it.
Or.perhaps I'm overthing the situation because of what has happened in the past.
In any event EZ is a natural RB and I saw enough in the Spring to convince me it's just a matter of time and Gideon will be hot on his trail.
Look at it this way , EZ better turn it on or Gideon is going to catch him sooner than later.
Gideon wins RB1 by mid-season as EZ can't hold him off. Randall stays in the picture because he's the bigger back some of y'all are clamoring for.
I have nothing against Randall I'm just convinced turnovers will decide the LSU game .

A good play on the ball is a good play on the ball.....no matter who is carrying it. Shipley could testify to a lot of them even from the success he had. Also we as Clemson fans want to make the same plays on the ball for our benefit. It sucks and itsva blessing sometimes... but thats football

No thanks. Davis was a whiny baby who cost us the 06 chicken game.

A Wayne Gallman in the mix would be nice.

The problem I see is we just don't offer enough prospects for any position on our football team, especially at RB position.... we cannot get by handing out only 3 offers for the RB position, I mean how many scholarships offers did UGA , Bama, even UNC hand out at the RB position? Let's be honest, I love that the Clemson scholarship means more, I'm sure we all see value in that, but it's hurting us in numbers now, and we will scramble and end up with a fall back prospect rank at #100 ranking (low 3 star) at RB when we could have missed on these top 10 RB offers and gotten say a top 30 RB(still 4 star) as the fall back prospect. #### offer about 8-10 prospects and see what happens when you grab your top 2 or 3 and close it out, that's what everybody else is doing.... It's a reason why it works for everyone else, no need to be special when it's not working.. Go Tigers!! 💪💪

Mafah and Ship were both great when healthy and I think EZ and Gideon will both be good backs for us as well spiller isn’t giving me any reason to lose hope in him we haven’t gotten any RB recruits this cycle because of EZ redshirt freshman in 2nd year and Gideon true freshman… you don’t have to be smart to figure that one out… another example why did we get like 6 really good lineman this cycle… maybe it’s because Matt Lukes a great recruiter but also because the whole line will be gone after next season too so there is opportunity for all those guys.
