Clemson has offered 4-star 2019 offensive tackle Michael Tarquin from Belleview, FL (Belleview HS) on Friday. TigerNet spoke with him minutes after receiving the offer to hear his initial thoughts about the full scholarship from the defending National Champions.
"It's awesome. I'm really excited, I have been talking to Coach Caldwell for over a year," Tarquin said. "Coach Caldwell is awesome, I love him." Tarquin was in attendance at Clemson's spring game and participated at the 2016 Dabo Swinney Football camp. "It's great [Clemson]," Tarquin said. "I like how the stadium is right on campus." He also relayed that he is good friends with Clemson offensive lineman Blake Vinson. The 6-5 foot prospect has early national offers from Arizona State, Auburn, Clemson, Iowa State, Louisville, Miami, Michigan, Mississippi State, Ohio State, South Carolina, Texas A&M, and USF.
