4-star Fort Myers, Florida defensive end prospect Derick Hunter announced a Clemson offer Saturday.
"Blessed and so thankful to receive an offer from Clemson University," Hunter posted on Twitter. Hunter already holds 40-plus offers, including from instate suitors Florida, Florida State and Miami, as well as Georgia, Maryland, Oregon, Penn State and Alabama. He was committed to Miami at one point during 2017. In early February, he had a top-10 of Florida, Miami, South Carolina, Mississippi State, Oregon, Auburn, Tennessee, Maryland, Penn State and Alabama.
