4-star defensive end Jordan Williams from Virginia Beach, VA (Cox HS) and his parents will visit Clemson on Saturday morning.
TigerNet spoke with Williams, and he will be visiting Clemson for the first time. "I am looking forward to seeing all of the facilities, the hill, and I'm really looking forward to meeting all the coaches," Williams said. He has been in contact with Clemson coaches Brent Venables and Marion Hobby. "I really like them," Williams said. Williams said that he was looking for a great program in the sports medicine field and a "coaching staff who can help me get to the next level." He has early offers from Clemson, Marshall, Maryland, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Temple, Texas State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. As a junior, he had 39 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, five sacks, two interceptions, seven pass deflections, a forced fumble and recovered two fumbles including one returned for a touchdown. He has a big frame, high motor and potentially an enormous ceiling at the college level. Clemson This Weekend ?? #GoTigers pic.twitter.com/pqYVQw1cDw
