Doeren on NC State-Clemson: "Put it on AM radio for all I care" |
North Carolina State head coach Dave Doeren held his weekly press conference on Monday and answered a question about why he thought ESPN College GameDay did not select the undefeated matchup between No. 3 Clemson and No. 16 North Carolina State.
"Obviously, you would think with two of the undefeated teams with eight left; we'd have a good chance," Doeren said. "They can put it on AM radio for all I care. We're ready to play that game." There you go. Let's go old school and put this game on AM radio. No use of laptops either on the sidelines, so Doeren doesn't lose his mind on any conspiracy theories. #NCState’s Dave Doeren talks ESPN’s College GameDay NOT being at #Clemson Saturday (2 of 8 undefeated teams in NCAA/5 in P5 playing).
ESPN College GameDay decided instead to go to their first visit ever to Pullman, Washington for Saturday's game between No. 25 Washington State and No. 12 Oregon. This Pac-12 contest should be a tight one as many betting sites have this as a pick em. This is the second time this season that ESPN College Gameday has been at an Oregon game this season. The ACC is the only P5 conference with more than one undefeated team (Clemson and NC State) and they're playing on Saturday. Biggest game of the week.
Says he sees case for it being there, but “they could put it on AM radio for all I care,” CU homecoming, #ACC Atlantic at stake.. huge game still. pic.twitter.com/6LyortukZ1
