Will Shipley scores TD, former Tiger defenders show out in preseason game

Three new Clemson pros stood out early in the action in Baltimore on Friday.

Philly's Will Shipley, a fourth-round pick, scored his first NFL preseason TD on a 7-yard play-action pass:

He also had seven carries for 23 yards in the first half action.

On the other side of the ball, Ravens first-round pick Nate Wiggins had three pass breakups in the first three targets his way, adding three tackles:

Wiggins did leave with an apparent shoulder injury in the second half, which coach John Harbaugh did not have an update on postgame.

Also in the Baltimore back-seven, Trenton Simpson, moving into a new bigger role with the Ravens, totaled a game-best nine tackles in the first 30 minutes. He reached double-digits by the second half.

On the opposing side, new Eagles linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr. led Philly with four tackles, with one sack, at the half, and added to the total in the second session:
