Football offseason is an opportunity for players to get stronger physically and mentally for the grind of the upcoming season.

Heisman finalist Deshaun Watson is improving his strength with around a three-hundred-pound power clean, courtesy video from former Clemson tight end Jay Jay McCullough.

Some of the benefits of the power clean exercise include muscle development, explosive power and speed, burns body fat, and grip strength.

Check out the celebration by his fellow teammates and Watson himself after the lift. If the universal leader of the team is putting in the work, it's a healthy sign for the entire 2016 Clemson football team.
