No decision has been made on whether the nation's number one player will visit Clemson next weekend.

Rashan Gary, the 2016 defensive tackle prospect out of Paramus (N.J.) Catholic is rated by many services as the nation's best recruit for the 2016 recruiting cycle. Clemson has been in contention for Gary's services but a visit to the Clemson campus - he hasn't been to Clemson since last spring - would go a long way towards helping the Tigers' chances.

Gary visited Michigan - considered the front-runner - this past weekend with teammate and 2017 4-star linebacker Donald Stewart. Due to inclement weather in New Jersey, Gary has been stuck in Ann Arbor and as a result a decision hasn't been made on whether a January 29th official visit will be to Clemson or Alabama.

Jennifer Coney, Gary's mother, told TigerNet Sunday evening a decision likely won't be made until Monday after the weather in the northeast forced flight cancellations

"Rashan hasn't made it home yet," Coney told TigerNet. "I am not expecting him home until Monday afternoon, so a decision hasn't been made."

Clemson's coaches had an in-home visit with Gary earlier this week.
