I know there is a lot of speculation about Adams out there, and I just wanted to pass along what I am hearing. I am having to make a ton of calls and I've been receiving regular texts from people who are close to the situation. Adams and his head coach - Jimmy Hughes - have decided that they are done communicating until Adams makes a decision. With that said, I still was able to glean a little bit of info this afternoon, and hearing this info just reinforces why I hate "recruit projections" and percentages.

I am hearing that during his Clemson visit, Adams didn't have a whole lot to say - he had a person in the meeting with him that was described to me as a "mentor." The mentor did most of the talking, but it was still a good visit, and Clemson's coaches were followed by Alabama's coaches. I am now hearing - and I've talked to more than one person - that this one is just too close to call. Auburn is making a push (his good buddy Carl Lawson Carl Lawson

decided to stick with Auburn today), Bama is still there, as are Clemson and Georgia. You have to believe that Adams - who has said himself that he is torn - still hasn't completely made up his mind. I pushed the source on percentages - and he said he would characterize it as 30 percent Clemson, 30 percent Georgia, 30 percent Auburn and 10 percent Alabama.

Montravius Adams' final four schools are Auburn, Alabama, Clemson, and UGA. He will announce on signing day at 9:45AM EST on ESPNU.
