Clemson has offered 3-star 2016 offensive tackle Will Fries TigerNet.com spoke with Fries to hear about his thoughts on the new offer. Brent Venables and Dan Brooks stopped by his high school and gave him his verbal offer. "He was awesome," said Fries on Coach Venables. The coaching staff offered him as an offensive tackle. Fries has early offers from Army, Boston College, Clemson, UMass, Northwestern, Old Dominion, Penn State, Rutgers and Syracuse. His first offer was by Rutgers. He describes his style of play as the following: "I play physical, tough and will pancake my opponent." His team was 11-1 on the season and lost in the state championship game. His family and him have never visited Clemson but he would like to setup a trip this Spring if possible and also plans to major in Business or Marketing in college.Will Fries
