GSP adding Cotton Bowl flights for Clemson fans

Press Release  ·

GREER, S.C.—Clemson University fans planning trips to watch the Tigers play Notre Dame in the Cotton Bowl on Dec. 29 just got additional nonstop options from Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) from three airlines.

American, Delta and Southwest airlines will each offer nonstop flights from GSP to the Dallas area on Dec. 28 and Dec. 30. American will offer its normal schedule of two daily flights from GSP to Dallas/Ft. Worth (DFW) while Delta and Southwest will add special flights just for fans traveling to the big game. Delta’s flight will be offered from GSP to DFW and Southwest’s flight will operate between GSP and Dallas-Love Field (DAL).

“GSP strives to be the most convenient option for passengers and we appreciate having airline partners step up to meet the needs of our customers for this important game,” said Dave Edwards, GSP’s president and CEO. “We definitely see plenty of fans clad in orange and white at GSP throughout the year and we look forward to their enthusiasm around the playoffs.”

Tickets are available now and fans are encouraged to book early.
