Former Clemson defensive end Da'Quan Bowers had a tryout with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Friday according to multiple reports.

Defensive lineman Tim Jamison and Ishmaa'ily Kitchen also participated in the workout for the Jaguars. The team is looking for defensive line depth after a season-ending injury to Sen'Derrick Marks.

The three players have not been officially signed so far.

The Bamberg high school product had 21 tackles, 1.5 sacks, a fumble recovery and a pass break up in 2014. In four NFL seasons, he has 70 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, seven sacks, seven pass break-ups and two fumble recoveries.

He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the second round with the 51st overall pick after concerns over medical issues with his knee.

Bowers had 67 tackles, 26 tackles for loss and 15.5 sacks and led the nation in sacks and tackles for loss at Clemson in 2010. He was also named first-team All-ACC, ACC Defensive Player of the Year, unanimous first-team All-American and winner of the Bronko Nagurski Trophy.
