ACC, ESPN Announce 2016 Dr Pepper ACC Championship Game Time, Network

GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – The Atlantic Coast Conference and ESPN have announced that the 2016 Dr Pepper Atlantic Coast Conference Football Championship Game, which will be held on Saturday, December 3, at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida, will have an 8 p.m. kickoff and be shown nationally on ABC.

This marks the eighth consecutive year that the Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship has been held in prime time, and the fourth consecutive year the game has been televised by ABC in its coveted 8 p.m. time slot. The winner of the game, which matches the ACC’s Atlantic Division winner against the Coastal Division winner, has gone on to play in the National Championship Game or compete in the College Football Playoff each of the previous three seasons.
