Former Clemson standout K.J. McDaniels had a stellar swat in Thursday's 132-101 loss to the Golden State Warriors.

McDaniels chased down All-Star guard Klay Thompson on a fast break and swatted his lay-up off the backboard.

The 2nd year guard had 20 points (10 for 10 FT), 8 rebounds in 28 minutes of action.

The high-flying wing finished his rookie season averaging 7.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.1 blocks per game. He played in only 10 out of 29 games with the Rockets (including the postseason) and logged 33 total minutes (1.13 minutes per game) since the trade from Philadelphia.

He was a first-team All-ACC selection and the ACC Defensive Player of the Year in 2013-14 while at Clemson. He led the Tigers in points (614), rebounds (255), blocks (100), steals (41) and three-pointers (42) - the only player in the country to lead his team in all five categories.
