3-star safety Lannden Zanders committed to Clemson while on a spring game weekend visit.
The visit was Zanders’ third in the span of a month after a February offer for the under-the-radar prospect. "Thank you to everyone who has always and never stopped believing in me," Zanders posted on Twitter Saturday during the spring game, "as a person and an athlete. But most importantly, a big thank you to my dad, thank you for the sacrifices and time that you spent on my brother and myself. I truly appreciate you. "With that being said, I would like to announce that I will be furthering my academic and athletic career at...The Clemson University!!!" Zanders also made a pair of visits to Tennessee after their February offer and also holds offers from Maryland, Appalachian State, East Carolina, Georgia Southern, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt and SMU. In 2017 through 10 games, he had 47 tackles including six for loss, and four interceptions. On offense, he had 10 rushes for 95 yards and 16 catches for 273 yards and four scores. Zanders joins four-star Milton High School (Ga.) safety Joseph Charleston in the 2019 Clemson secondary class. He is a fourth commit of the spring game weekend, joining 3-star LB Bryton Constantin, 5-star WR Frank Ladson and 4-star QB Taisun Phommanchanh. A Dream come true! pic.twitter.com/jIXPhH6qbU
