Concord, N.C. athlete DeAndre Boykins has been offered by Clemson, his high school announced on Friday:
Boykins has Auburn, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Michigan, North Carolina, Penn State, South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin among his offers to this point. He's been a standout player on both sides of the ball.
Boykins tallied 42 stops, four for loss, with a forced fumble and three interceptions on defense last season and averaged 7.4 yards per carry with nine touchdowns as a running back, also scoring as a receiver and punt returner.
His brother, Derek, also received a Clemson offer out of Central Cabarrus and ultimately signed with South Carolina last year.
