Carlos Bates

Cornerback

Douglas High School (Atlanta)

6'1", 175 lbs.

Carlos Bates helped Douglas High School finish the season with an
8-3 record, and make the first round of the Georgia state playoffs. He
finished the season with seven interceptions, two touchdowns, and 32
tackles.

Among the schools that are recruiting Bates are Clemson, UAB, Wake
Forest, and Auburn. He is currently leaning towards UAB, but said that
could change if he heard more from Clemson.

"I think they have a really good program," Bates said. "I have really liked
Clemson all along, but I haven't heard from them in a while. If they were to
start calling again, I would definitely be interested."

Bates currently doesn't have any visits lined up.
