CLEMSON RECRUITING

Alabama Defensive End Impressed with Clemson

by -

David Brown Defensive Tackle Bob Jones High School (Madison, AL) 6'4 1/2", 245 lbs, 4.8 Bench presses 330 lbs The son of a 30-year army veteran, Brown is a well traveled young man. Born in North Carolina, he has also lived in Kansas, Indiana, Korea, Ohio, Canada, and Alabama. Although he has seen a lot in his short life, nothing has prepared him for the recruting process. "I moved here from Canada in the ninth grade, and I was six-feet tall and 180 pounds, so I never knew it would be like this," Brown said. "I am trying to narrow down the list of schools I am looking at, but this is the hardest decision I have ever had to make." The schools that are recruiting Brown and have made offers include Clemson, Notre Dame, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee, LSU, Mississippi State, Georgia Tech, Arkansas, Stanford, and Vanderbilt. "I don't know too much about Clemson, but that is the case with just about all of the schools," Brown said. "But from what I have heard, they sound very impressive both academically and athletically." Brown has visits lined up with Notre Dame, Alabama, and Georgia.
