Athlon Sports released its rankings of the Top ACC running backs for 2015 and Clemson's Wayne Gallman is listed at #6 overall.

"Gallman provided a spark for Clemson’s offense in the second half of 2014, and the sophomore heads into 2015 at the top of a talented backfield," Athlon Sports said. "In 13 games, Gallman rushed for 769 yards and four scores and caught 24 passes for 108 yards. He rushed for 191 yards in the 35-17 win over rival South Carolina and added two other 100-yard efforts in 2014. Clemson has depth at running back, but Gallman could push for 1,000 yards."

The freshman running back was one of only four running backs in FBS (Todd Gurley, Terron Ward and Corey Clement) to have 800 yards, five touchdowns and no fumbles. He was also an outstanding workhorse against the rival in-state Gamecocks as he had a game-high 191 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries.

The full list of Top 10 ACC running backs included James Conner (#1), Dalvin Cook (#2), Jon Hillman (#3), Joseph Yearby (#4), Shadrach Thornton (#5), Wayne Gallman (#6), Taquan Mizzell (#7), Brandon Radcliff (#8), J.C. Coleman (#9) and T.J. Logan (#10).
